On Sunday, February 23, SOMA Hoops once again teamed up with SOMA Kids Feed Kids, a local organization fighting food insecurity while teaching kids the value of serving their community. Our group of fifteen 3rd and 4th grade girls learned about the crisis of food insecurity in our community, especially during the winter months. SOMA Hoops coaches and local high school students led the group in packing over 90 bags for families in need, which were delivered in partnership with Toni’s Kitchen. Go team!

Seton Hall Women’s Basketball Hosts Clinic For SOMA Hoops
As if the excitement of our Seton Hall Spirit Night could be topped, on Sunday, December 15th, over 100 SOMA Hoops girls (grades 3-8) were invited by the Seton Hall Women’s Basketball Team for a truly special experience at Walsh Gym. They watched the Seton Hall team practice before participating in a clinic on the court led by their coaches and players. It was a day filled with skill-building fun, Q&A sessions with the college coaches and players, and capped off with pizza, autographs, and photos. Parents, coaches, and siblings cheered from the stands as our players connected with the incredible Seton Hall team. We are so grateful for their generosity, time, and care—our players are still buzzing about the experience! We can’t wait to make this a yearly tradition. Here’s to more community, connection, and love for the game!
